Almost Marine Biologist
My name is Ashleigh, I’m a 23-year old travel & coffee enthusiast from New Jersey, USA. I recently got my undergraduate degree in marine science with a concentration in marine biology at the University of Maine. This blog started as a way for me to share my experiences while on a semester abroad in Dunedin, New Zealand back in 2018.
More recently I decided to revamp it a bit and incorporate a little bit of everything I love (travel, coffee, lots of planning, self awareness, etc.)
Why flippers & flat whites?
- Soon to be full-time Masters Student over in Australia studying Australian fur seals
- seals are my favorite animals and they have flippers
- besides my lovely cat, my side love is coffee
- My go-to coffee order is an oat milk flat white
